Hello everyone, I am Teacher Julia.  I was a medical doctor before I moved to the United States. My son is 11 years old now.  When he was growing up, I enjoyed singing songs, reciting poems, reading stories, and writing Chinese characters with him.  After we have chosen to make United States our home, I realize how important it is for us to retain the enthusiasm in learning the Chinese language.  Teaching in the Evergreen Chinese Academy, I am touched by others’ passion for the Chinese language and culture. My goal is to help my students to master the Chinese language.  I appreciate the opportunity to be a part of this community.

我叫朱朝霞， 赴美之前曾是一名医师。我还是一位11岁男孩的母亲。在伴随孩子成长的道路上，我教他读书、写字、唱歌和念诗。特别是来美国生活以后，我更感受到在远离中国文化土壤的美国，让孩子继续保持学习中文的热情有多么重要。在长青中文学院我看到了那么多人对中文的爱好，这让我很感动，教好中文，便成为了我的一种责任。很高兴有机会和大家在一起。
